On 6 November 2026, Mundoro Capital Inc. announced a significant strategic investment from Centerra Gold Inc. under a subscription agreement and an investor rights agreement. This investment will see Centerra acquire 9.9% of Mundoro’s outstanding common shares through a private placement, amounting to approximately C$4.08 million. The private placement involves the issuance of 12,374,000 common shares at a price of C$0.33 each, with the expected closing date set for around 27 November 2026, pending necessary corporate and regulatory approvals.

The funds raised from this investment are earmarked for exploration activities on Mundoro’s non-partnered projects and for general working capital. The investor rights agreement will grant Centerra certain privileges, including the right to participate in future equity financings to maintain its ownership stake in Mundoro. This strategic partnership is expected to bolster Mundoro’s financial position and enhance its exploration capabilities.

In a related announcement, Mundoro also reported its exploration results for the Timok Magmatic Complex in Serbia and provided an update on its option agreements with BHP. The company has regained control of the Central Timok and Borsko licenses, which include five drill-ready porphyry targets, while BHP continues its options over the Trstenik and South Timok programs. Mundoro plans to seek new partners for these licenses, which are now 100% owned by the company.

Mundoro Capital is a Canadian mineral acquisition, exploration, development, and investment firm focused primarily on base and precious metals. The company aims to create value for its shareholders through its asset portfolio, which generates near-term cash payments and royalties from mineral properties optioned to partners. Currently, Mundoro’s exploration efforts are concentrated on copper in two key mineral districts: the Western Tethyan Belt in Eastern Europe and the Laramide Belt in the southwestern United States.

The announcement of this strategic investment and the exploration updates signal Mundoro’s commitment to advancing its projects and enhancing shareholder value. As the company moves forward, it remains focused on leveraging its partnerships and exploration initiatives to drive growth in the competitive mining sector.
