The establishment of a Quality Control Commission will oversee the implementation of a structured system that ensures professional oversight, traceability, certification, and quality assurance for products bearing the name ‘Macedonian Ruby’. This initiative aims to guarantee that only those products meeting specific standards and verified origin requirements can carry this prestigious designation.
Key components of the new system include verified origin, professional quality control, product traceability, certification procedures, and protection against misuse and misrepresentation. An innovative addition under development is a QR-code verification system, which will allow consumers to access detailed information regarding the product’s origin, compliance, and certification directly from the packaging. This move not only enhances consumer trust but also elevates the status of Macedonian Ruby in the marketplace.
