    Turkmengeology State Corporation reannounces international tender for additional well drilling

    State Corporation Turkmengeologiya (Turkmen Geology) on behalf of the Commission for competitive (tender) selection of suppliers of oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan reannounces the international tender №03/23 for drilling and development (testing) of Miocene (N1) sediments of exploration well №01 of Akpatlavuk field in compliance with the Individual Working Project for Turkmengeologiya (Turkmen Geology) (the tender is indivisible)

    Parties are invited to the Turkmengeology SC:

    • submit a written application (from companies registered or having Bank accounts in offshore zones, applications are not accepted) about the desire to participate in the tender with the full name of the participant, its legal status, country of registration and details;
    • be familiar with the Law of Turkmenistan on tenders for the supply of goods, performance of works, rendering of services for state needs, the statement of the Rules of the tender and the list of documents required for participation in the tender;
    • get the geological and technical assignment and the main conditions of the contract;
    • receive an invoice for payment of funds in the amount of 1500 (one thousand five hundred) US dollars or the equivalent in manats (excluding VAT and bank charges) for one Lot for participation in the tender free of charge.

    The account for the transfer of funds will be specified when submitting a written application.

    One sealed envelope with a full tender offer (quotation) certified with a mastic seal must be delivered to the above address from the moment of publication of the announcement and accepted for consideration after receipt of funds to the account Turkmengeology.

    It is mandatory to enclose the electronic version of the questionnaire, the main terms of the contract (Word format) and the technical and economic specification (Excel format) in the tender envelope.

    The deadline for submitting proposals is 30 business days from the date of publication until 12.00 local time.

    The President of Turkmenistan demanded to increase the effectiveness of exploration work

    President Serdar Berdimuhamedov demanded to increase the effectiveness of exploration work of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”. Relevant instructions were given to the Deputy Prime Minister for the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov on Friday at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.

    The head of state noted that ensuring stable productive activity in the oil and gas sector is directly related to the modernization of its infrastructure on an innovative basis, the introduction of modern resource-saving technologies into the industry.

    President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to continue comprehensive work on the accelerated industrial development of new promising areas, as well as to increase the effectiveness of exploration work of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”, having addressed a number of specific instructions in this regard.

    Due to delays in the payment of salaries, employees from Turkmengeologia in Mary are dismissed

    Employees are dismissed from the Mary subdivision of exploration drilling of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”. People have not received their salaries for several months, correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report.

    Exploration work is not carried out due to the lack of reagents for the drilling fluid. Three months ago, the workers were paid 1,500 manats each, although even then the work was not carried out. Since then, the problem with the lack of components for the solution has not been resolved. Those who quit are mostly residents of the villages adjacent to Mary. Some of the unemployed were able to go to work in Turkey or Russia.

    One of the former exploration workers, a resident of the Sakarchaginsky etrap, reports that many of his fellow villagers are leaving for the city of Sochi (Russia). Including women who get jobs in cafes and restaurants. Some left as labor migrants, others permanently with their families.

    – There are no jobs. Our and neighboring villages are practically empty. Only old people and dogs remained, – said a resident of the etrap.

    The wave of emigration from Turkmenistan has also affected the officers of the Ministry of Defense, Turkmen news reports. Officers of military units, military schools and even military registration and enlistment offices are dismissed and go abroad, despite the fact that they have a good income in the form of bribes during the draft period.

    “Many people believe that the military is restricted to travel abroad, but this is not so. There are ways to leave, ”the newspaper writes.

    It is also reported that policemen and employees of the oil and gas sector are leaving en masse. In the city of Gazachak, Lebap velayat, in order to avoid the outflow of personnel abroad, passports were taken away from employees of the gas sector.

    According to the results of the first half of 2023, specialists of the Dashoguz hydrogeological expedition of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” completed the drilling plan by 120%. This was reported by the online edition “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

    Specialists carry out work to search for underground aquifers, clarify reserves, study the structure, quality and chemical composition, analyze groundwater and carry out geoecological images.

    Water quality was studied in Agzybirlik, Ak Altyn, Täze Zaman, Gyzyl takyr, Ak bugdaý geneshliks of Akdepe etrap, Guwanç Atamedow of Boldumsaz etrap. The enterprise provided the Zähmet geneshlik of Akdepe etrap with drinking water. Work is being carried out in different directions along the Altyn Asyr Lake and in the territory adjacent to the reservoir.
