CoreX Holding has taken a significant step in the development of the Manka Gold Project in Kazakhstan by signing an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with AAEngineering Group LLP. This contract marks the transition of the project from the preparatory phase into execution, signalling a pivotal moment in CoreX’s growth strategy. The Manka Gold processing plant, designed to have a capacity of 200 KTPA, will be developed alongside necessary infrastructure in the Markakol Region of East Kazakhstan.
Acquired by CoreX Metals & Mining BV in 2023, the Manka Gold deposit is situated within the Great Altai region, a prominent geological belt that extends across Kazakhstan and its neighbouring countries. This milestone reinforces CoreX’s ambitions to enhance its presence in gold mining, diversify its global metals and mining portfolio, and advance its long-term investment strategy in Kazakhstan.
The project aims to not only establish a stronger foothold in the gold sector but also to develop modern mineral processing capabilities and infrastructure in East Kazakhstan. CoreX is committed to fostering regional economic activity and creating employment opportunities as part of its broader mission.
As the company continues to expand its Metals & Mining platform, the Manka Gold Project represents a concrete step towards building a more diversified global mining business. CoreX aims to rank among the world’s top 100 mining companies by 2030, and this project is a significant part of that vision. The company expressed gratitude to all teams involved in reaching this milestone and looks forward to collaborating with partners to advance the Manka Gold Project safely and responsibly.
