Kazakhstan cancels planned tariff increase for rail transportation of certain goods.

A letter from JSC “NC” Kazakhstan Temir Zholy “No. 459-I dated March 2, 2024, announced the planned increase in tariffs for regulated services by KTZ for the transportation of certain goods from March 9, 2024, to December 31, 2025. However, on March 13, by the order of Roman Sklyar, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the order was revoked, with the cancellation taking effect from March 9, 2024. Companies involved in transportation in this direction, such as Global Logistics LLC, have confirmed the cancellation.
