In the year 2023, copper concentrate production in Armenia experienced a decline of 5.8% compared to the previous year. The RA Statistical Committee reported a total production of 289,607.9 tons of copper concentrate from January to December 2023, reflecting this decrease.

Additionally, zinc concentrate production dropped by 17.9% to 8,161.0 tons, while molybdenum concentrate production saw an increase of 4.6% to 23,353.5 tons during the same period.

In the metallurgy sector, ferromolibden production decreased by 15.6% to 7,738.1 tons. Conversely, steel pipe production surged by 43.4%, reaching 21,253.7 tons. However, aluminium foil production declined by 21.1%, totalling 25,669.5 tons.
