In the Zhetysu region, implementation of a large project has begun for the construction of a metallurgical plant with a capacity of 860 thousand tons of copper concentrate per year. Akim of the region Beibit Isabaev announced this at a briefing at the SCS site, reports the correspondent of the business information center Kapital.kz with reference to the press service of the akimat.   The cost of the project is 1.3 trillion tenge, the company plans to create more than 2,000 jobs.
