By the decree of the Head of State, Marat Karimzhanovich Karabayev was appointed Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform reports with reference to Akorda.

Earlier, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kairbek Uskenbayev was  dismissed  from the post of Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development.

Karabaev Marat Karimzhanovich was born on July 4, 1987. In 2010, he graduated with honors from the University of Warwick in the UK under the Bolashak program, specializing in Industrial Systems Engineering. In 2015 he graduated from Taraz State University named after. Dulati M.Kh. majoring in Economics. From 2011 to 2013, he worked in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan as an expert, and then as a chief expert. Since 2013, Marat Karabaev has worked in the Department of Transit and Transport Logistics of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the head of department. In 2014, he was the Deputy Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the South Kazakhstan region. From November 2015 to 2017, he worked as the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Industrial-Innovative Development and Tourism of the South Kazakhstan region. From May 2018 to July 2020, Karabaev continued his career as director of the department for the development of the military-industrial complex of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From July 2020 to July 2021 – Chairman of the Industrial Development Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since July 2021, he has been the Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From July 2020 to July 2021 – Chairman of the Industrial Development Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since July 2021, he has been the Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From July 2020 to July 2021 – Chairman of the Industrial Development Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since July 2021, he has been the Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
