GEOSCAN

Geoscan Group is a hi-tech company, conducting a full cycle of both scientific activities and manufacturing in radio electronics, instrumentation and aerial photography. Since 2011 Geoscan has been designing and manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of two types: fixed-wing and multirotor, also developing software for photogrammetric data processing.

The company’s products are utilized in cadastre, agriculture, energy and mining industry, and urban development. Besides selling and lease of UAVs, the company provides comprehensive hi-tech services in aerial photography and laser scanning, aeromagnetic and airborne gamma-ray spectrometry surveys, 3D modelling and developing portals. Projects with the Geoscan UAVs have been carried out in Mexico, Burkina Faso, and Kazakhstan.

Geoscan actively takes part in educational projects popularizing the use of UAVs to teach school and university students. The company has designed the Pioneer line with three devices that train children in piloting, programming, and design.

Geoscan has also developed technology to organize light drone shows. On the 3rd of September, 2020, the company broke the world record for the number of drones launched into the sky simultaneously.
