Kazakhstan has introduced revised regulations for the management, storage, and provision of geological information under state ownership. The updated rules designate a state-owned enterprise as the operator for storing geological data, which includes primary and secondary information presented in reports.
Public access is granted to the general section of secondary data, excluding classified or confidential materials. Users can request copies through the National Data Bank, with delivery promised within five working days following payment for the copying service.
